I was searching on Google for "new homes California" and I did not find the results as useful as I would have hoped for. I like Google and use their search engine everyday; however I am looking for helpful and honest reviews for all new homes in California. Hopefully enough people will decide to link to this page, so it might rank for "new homes California" on Google. I would like all my research and time (hundreds of hours) invested in this project to benefit many other people looking to purchase a new home in California. I plan on reviewing 60+ different new home builders on this web site. I am an Internet Publisher and can live anywhere I like. I love California and I want a new home, so I have been looking at some of these companies' products (list of home builders). Currently I am studying and looking at many new homes on this list. In general I like D.R. HORTON new homes the best so far. I am interested in the following communities: For new homes in Oxnard, I think SeaBridge is the best choice, and offers an excellent value. I also like the new homes D.R. Horton has in Camarillo. I am considering moving to the San Francisco area and I enjoy the city of Dublin. The new homes in Dublin, CA I like are at LiveAtElan.com . I think these sold out as of 9-30-08, they are right next to the BART station and in 34 minutes I can be in downtown San Francisco, one of the most fun and beautiful cites in the world.

Research we have conducted as of 9-10-08 I also looked at homes by Mission Peak Company, KB Home, Pacific Mountain Partners, Classic Communities, Centex Homes, Ryder Homes, Atherton Homes, Fitzpatrick Homes, The Hofmann Company, JKB Homes, Anderson Homes, Standard Pacific, Syncon Homes, and Beck Properties. Please do not miss understand me, these are all very nice communities however based on my requirements the D.R. HORTON new homes are a better value, at least for me. I can say based on my research there are many good reasons why D.R. HORTON is the largest home builder in America. After studying all these homes in detail, some of the others just seemed to have little problems I did not like. E.g. the floor plan layouts, or the height of the ceilings, etc. I like tall ceilings. Buying a new home is the most expensive decision I will make, so analyzing all my options is worth it. Another option for housing is a modular home. We have been studying the pros and cons of this type of home vs. buying from a big home builder like Toll Brothers or DR Horton. One very good source of information we recommend you read is ModularHomesNetwork.com, they offer accurate and current up to date information about the modular home industry.
